C01 What it is

The build, in passes.

Karaoke Night is a local-first, multi-user karaoke room: the stage plays on a big screen and guests join from their phones to queue songs. It runs on Supabase, with its own schemas for the room and for private data.

  • Stage on the TV, phone remotes that join a session and queue songs
  • Own karaoke and karaoke_private schemas; nothing created in public
  • No triggers on auth.users, so signing up to another app creates no karaoke rows
  • Admin claim and tagged guest sessions with automatic cleanup
  • Vitest unit tests and Playwright journeys, with Playwright guests cleaned up after runs

C02 How it is built

Every node is a package the repository actually depends on. Hover one to light its neighbours.
  • Next.js
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • styled-components
  • Supabase
  • Three.js
  • Zod
  • Vitest
